Making a start on the insect hotel

We finally managed to get a break in the weather and start our insect hotel. The vegetable and flower beds make a good start for our first attempt. The children really enjoy gathering the twigs, dried poppy seed heads and dry grasses. More to do when the weather improves (probably in September then).
